Just a reminder: Graduation ceremonies are this week for PCSD! Congratulations to each member of the Class of 2025!
Ceremonies will take place on the football field at each campus. (In case of inclement weather, ceremonies will be moved into the high school gyms and more information will be provided at that time if needed).

We made it!!! We hope everyone has a great Spring Break! Enjoy the time off with friends and family! See you back on Monday, March 17th!

Just a reminder about our PCSD Job Fair tomorrow! Thanks!

Due to the potential for severe weather and strong winds this afternoon, PCSD is dismissing school early at 1 p.m. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff and to avoid having buses and student drivers on the road during the strongest winds.
Please make arrangements to pick up your child as needed, and stay weather-aware throughout the day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our school community.

Parents, Guardians, Students and Staff: Pontotoc County School District will be open tomorrow and will operate on a normal schedule. Please be safe and dress warmly! Thank you!

This is a message from the Pontotoc County School District.
We realize that you might not have been anticipating this call at all…but we wanted to let you know…that due to the threat of inclement weather, including possible ice and snow, PCSD will be closed tomorrow. 😎 ❄️☃️🌨️
Stay safe and warm!

Parents/Guardians: Due to a plumbing issue at South Pontotoc’s campuses, school will be dismissed (for South Pontotoc campuses only) at 10:30 a.m. today. You may pick up your child/student immediately if you would like, but the buses will leave campus at 10:30 a.m. to take students home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Again, this is for South Pontotoc campuses only. Thanks so much for your understanding and cooperation.

Parents and Students, Please be aware that we are monitoring the weather for Friday night's graduation ceremony. As of now, the plan is for the ceremony to be on the football field as normal. If a change has to be made, a decision will be made and announced on Thursday afternoon concerning the location of the ceremony. If we do have to change the location, graduation will be in the SPHS Gym. If we have to move graduation to the gym, each graduate will be given 10 tickets for entrance into the gym due to the gym's safe maximum capacity. We will also set up an overflow area and stream graduation into the elementary PE gym in order to accommodate as many guests as possible.

Parents, progress reports will be sent home Wednesday, 2/14/24. You can also keep a check on your student's grades, attendance, and discipline through our active parent portal.

Good Luck!!!

Thank you to County Line Baptist Church for feeding the faculty and staff at South Pontotoc High School. The food was delicious and the fellowship was great. We love our community and are grateful for the way they take care of our teachers. I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures, I was too busy enjoying my food. If anyone else got any, please feel free to share in the comments.

Thank you West Heights Baptist Church for allowing us to use your facilities for our District convocation today.

Reminder... SPH Registration will be on Wed, 7/26. This is for new and returning students. Please note that students MUST TURN IN PROOFS OF RESIDENCY AND CLEAR ANY FINES/FEES OWED to pick up their schedules.
