Due to the potential for severe weather and strong winds this afternoon, PCSD is dismissing school early at 1 p.m. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff and to avoid having buses and student drivers on the road during the strongest winds.
Please make arrangements to pick up your child as needed, and stay weather-aware throughout the day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our school community.

We realize that you might not have been anticipating this call at all…but we wanted to let you know…that due to the threat of inclement weather, including possible ice and snow, PCSD will be closed tomorrow. 😎 ❄️☃️🌨️

Parents/Guardians: Due to a plumbing issue at South Pontotoc’s campuses, school will be dismissed (for South Pontotoc campuses only) at 10:30 a.m. today. You may pick up your child/student immediately if you would like, but the buses will leave campus at 10:30 a.m. to take students home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
