Course Description: Healthcare and Clinical Services I & II
Through the PRCTC’s Health Science program, students can
gain the basic skills and knowledge they will need to
succeed in the health industry. Throughout the 2 year
program, students are introduced to essential health
services, medical terminology, body systems, legal & ethical
issues, and more. Additionally, students get access to
observe a wide range of health care careers through their
embedded work based learning program observation hours.
Students will also become CPR certified.

HOSA
Health Occupations Students of America
Health Occupations Students of America is a student organization for students in the Health Science program. HOSA members have opportunities to participate in many classroom and community outreach activities throughout the year. Students can participate in district, state, and national competitions throughout the year and be awarded scholarships.
HOSA Competitive Events
Northern District Competition is February 16th at Delta State University. Registration $30 due by December 6th.
