Mr. Brad Parker

Jerry Bradford “Brad” Parker is completing his nineteenth year of education. Throughout his time in education, Mr. Parker has taught biology, chemistry, fifth and sixth grade math and science, algebra, geometry, ACT prep, and currently serves as a special education math teacher in DeSoto County, MS. A former principal and assistant principal, his seven years of administrative experience include four years of elementary administration, two years of middle school administration, and one year of high school administration.

Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Biology Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University. He will complete his Ph.D.
in Educational Leadership from The University of Mississippi in December 2021. Originally from Vardaman, he has family in Pontotoc County as well as Calhoun County. He is looking forward to moving back “home” and is very honored to be joining the North Pontotoc Elementary family. He is looking forward to many years of service. He is married to Mary Ann Parker, and they have one seventeen year old son, Stephen. He is an avid hunter and enjoys spending time with his family.
