Welcome back to school for the 2019-2020 school year. I am excited about the opportunity, and it is a great honor and privilege to serve as principal at South Pontotoc High School. South Pontotoc school and community does and always will hold a special place in my heart. It is our hope that this year our students are challenged and grow as students and as individuals. We want to make a positive impact on the community by preparing and encouraging our students to positively contribute to the community. We are going to have a great year as we relentlessly pursue the exceptional everyday here at SPHS!

Mr. Mark Vandiver, Assistant Principal
I am extremely excited to serve as assistant principal of South Pontotoc High School. I have been a Cougar my entire life, so I know how special this place is, and I know how special our community is. We have an amazing group of students with diverse talents and needs. It is our goal to challenge these students both in the classroom and in extracurricular activities. We want to help develop well-rounded young men and women who are prepared for the 21st century workforce and fully prepared to be successful in higher education. It is truly an honor to serve these students, and I look forward to working with our parents and community as we "relentlessly pursue the exceptional!"
