Student Services
We are dedicated to ensuring every student has the tools to succeed. From counseling and academic interventions to specialized support programs, our student services team is here to foster a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all.
Program Overview & Purpose
Student Services is committed to providing a free, appropriate public education (FAPE) for approximately 561 Pontotoc County students identified with disabilities within the district (as required by IDEA Rules and Regulations). Pontotoc County School District ensures FAPE for all students with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan), from age 3-21 years. Special Services's goal is to provide the students of Pontotoc County with support, which will allow them to receive individual levels of instruction in order to enhance their educational opportunity within the general curriculum classroom to the greatest degree possible.
