SPHS Students to Return Thursday, September 2nd
High school students will return to class on Thursday, September 2nd. Remember that masks have been mandated by the district, so students need to make sure they have one to wear.
Virtual Learning In Place Until 9-2-21
Due to an excessive number of students and staff who have quarantined or tested positive for COVID-19, all SOUTH PONTOTOC HIGH SCHOOL (Grades 9-12) students will be virtual for two weeks starting Thursday, August 19th. All students will return to campus on Thursday, Sept. 2nd. Students will be bringing home chromebooks and should expect lessons to be placed in Canvas. Teachers will communicate expectations and assignments throughout the next two weeks. Please watch for updates on district and school social media accounts, as well as calls and/or texts from the PCSD student information system.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULE
South Pontotoc High School will operate on a regular block schedule. The bell schedule will be as follows:
1st Block 7:45 a.m. - 9:25 a.m.
2nd Block 9:36 a.m. - 11:16 a.m.
3rd Block 11:20 a.m. - 1:26 p.m.
4th Block 1:30 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.
Students will dismiss for the day at 3:10 p.m.
Due to a USDA waiver, ALL students attending Pontotoc County School District are eligible to receive a free breakfast and/or lunch for the 2021-22 school year.
